We were delighted when the ever enthusiastic tutor and Justin Craig Course Director, Kevin, was asked to tutor and mentor Joey Essex in his quest to pass a GCSE. In the series, Educating Joey Essex, Joey was to go back to school to study for a General Studies GCSE. Despite Joey’s struggle with schoolwork at first, Kevin found ways for his new student to get that ‘eureka’ moment and to start really enjoying his study time.
It was fascinating to watch the entertaining Joey get to grips with the lessons, exam papers and gaining admiration for current students. Kevin demonstrated his patience, student knowledge and skill as a great tutor and even appeared to shed a tear when Joey passed his General Studies GCSE exam.
Well done Joey and Kevin!
