Our priority is ensuring students receive high-quality tailored tuition, which meets their individual needs. We achieve this by requesting the students’ priority topics in advance of the course, so that our tutors can plan the structure and content of the course to target the students’ needs and optimise the effectiveness of their revision.
Study with like-minded students in a group of no more than eight students and receive support from a subject specialist tutor. Small groups enable valuable discussion opportunities, allowing ideas and theories to be explored and providing students with the opportunity to learn from one another, as well as from the tutor.
We select experienced subject-specialist tutors with a flair for inspiring students and boosting their confidence. As many of our tutors are also examiners, they are skilled at identifying knowledge or skills gaps and fine-tuning students’ exam technique.
Our classroom-based courses provide students with a stimulating and inclusive study environment, free from distractions at home. They enable the tutor to provide more individual attention and interaction with students. Tutors are able to circulate in a classroom, looking at a student’s work, spotting errors and discussing solutions. Students mix with other motivated students and share ideas readily, which helps with their enjoyment, engagement and motivation.
Our online courses are a great alternative to classroom-based courses, and ensure that students receive high quality tuition but with the added flexibility of studying from any location. These courses are especially useful for those who live far away from one of our centres and for those who do not need the more individual support provided by classroom-based courses. Online courses are delivered on Microsoft Teams.
We offer a comprehensive range of tuition and revision courses for students in Years 10 to 13 (studying towards IGCSE, GCSE and A Levels). Our small group courses have an upper age limit of 19 years but we also offer online one to one tuition for younger or older students.
Our standard revision courses are two days in length for GCSE and three days in length for A Level although there are some exceptions. Most courses provide six hours of specialist tuition per day.
We cover most GCSE and A level subjects and often add courses if there is sufficient demand, so do contact us to check. If we can’t offer a small group course, we can almost certainly find you a tutor for online one-to-one tuition.
We run revision courses during all school holiday periods and on weekends in the run up to the May/June exams, to enable you to plan a comprehensive revision programme for your son or daughter. The emphasis of the course will be more focused on new knowledge and knowledge consolidation earlier in the year and focused on exam techniques and exam questions the nearer it gets to the exams.
You can search and provisionally book courses on our Course Timetable page.
Six weeks before the first course, students will be emailed a link to the student portal. Please log on and complete this as soon as possible so that the tutor can plan to cover your learning needs.
Joining instructions will be emailed to students and parents two weeks before each course. Travel and facilities information is available for each location on the Our Centres page.
